The Hivolt 103 Custom Guitar Amplifier plugin draws its inspiration from the esteemed vintage Hiwatt DR103 from 1970, featuring the original Partridge transformer and military-grade point-to-point wiring. This plugin presents itself as a dual-channel amplifier with a shared EQ across both channels, offering a nuanced and interactive user experience.

The architecture includes four inputs, two dedicated to each channel (Normal and Brilliant). Users can engage with high (DOWN) and low (UP) inputs, enabling flexible channel patching and blending for enhanced tonal versatility.

All amplifier parameter knobs function primarily as EQ and drive controls, exhibiting remarkable responsiveness and interactivity. Key features include:

Normal and Brilliant channels equipped with independent High and Low inputs for maximum versatility, enabling users to enhance the tonal character of darker pickups or temper the brightness of sharper tones.
Channel Linking, which provides additional punch and dynamic control over EQ through the independent volume controls of each channel.

The Hivolt 103 Custom Guitar Amplifier also incorporates a comprehensive recording chain emulation along with a custom-designed noise gate circuit, ensuring that users have a complete solution for their audio needs.

This plugin operates seamlessly as a standalone application, an AudioUnit v3 effect, or an Inter-App Audio effect.
